# Affiliate program

> Earn 20% of what your referrals pay for 12 months — with a link, or a 10%-off discount code you can say out loud.

Stratos pays members who bring in other founders. There are two ways to be credited, and both live on **Refer & Earn** in the app.

## The deal

| **Hold** | Commissions are *pending* for 30 days (the refund window), then *approved* |
| **Payout** | Monthly via PayPal once your approved balance reaches \$20 |

Self-referrals and refunded payments don't earn commission.

## Option 1 — your link

Every account has a referral link (`trystratos.ai/?ref=YOURCODE`). Anyone who signs up after clicking it is attributed to you for good. Clicks, sign-ups, paying referrals and every commission show on Refer & Earn.

## Option 2 — your discount code

If you make content, a code beats a link: you can say it in a video, put it in a caption, or hand it to a community.

    On Refer & Earn, press **Apply for a discount code**. The code will be your referral code.

    Approval takes a business day or so. Once approved, the code shows on Refer & Earn and is live at checkout.

    A customer types the code in Stripe Checkout's promotion-code field. They get 10% off their first month; the account is attributed to you automatically — no link or cookie needed.

Codes and links stack: a referral counts once, whichever came first.

## Getting paid

Add your PayPal email on Refer & Earn. Each month we pay every approved balance over \$20 and mark it paid; the ledger on your page shows pending, approved and paid amounts per payment.
